Spagnuolo Dentistry is a non-assignment dental office. This is in full compliance with the Ontario Dental Association. While we are more than happy to help you with your insurance claims, payment in full is required at the time of service, unless other arrangements have been previously made. Whenever possible, we will electronically send your insurance claims which will speed the process for you and you should receive your insurance reimbursement within a few short days.
Your dental insurance policy is a contract between you, your employer and your insurance company and due to Canadian and Ontario Governments Privacy Acts, it is you, as the policy holder, who is responsible for notifying us of any changes to your coverage, as well as knowing the various procedures covered under your plan in order to avoid disappointment with claim reimbursements. We understand that dental insurance claims can be frustrating and confusing to people outside of the dental field. Our dental receptionists will gladly do their best to assist you with your claims. We will send off predeterminations to your insurance company before treatment and explain their response so that you can be better prepared at the time of your dental treatment. In this way, you can legally maximize your benefits.
Payment can be made with Cash, Debit, Visa or MasterCard.
Changes to Scheduled appointments
Your appointment time has been reserved for you. We strive to start and end all of our appointments on time. However, we will not compromise the quality of your treatment just to stay on time. If you need extra time for your treatment or have extra questions about your treatment we will take the necessary time to properly take care of you.
We will do our best to make you aware of any changes in our schedule as soon as possible and try to minimize any inconvenience to you. As part of our commitment to provide all of our patients with the best service possible, and to accommodate all appointment requests, please be advised that we require 2 business days notice to make any changes to an already scheduled appointment in order to avoid a cancellation fee. This will allow us to reallocate your time to another patient that requires that time for their treatment.
Free Consultations
We do not offer Free Consultations. Why? Your treatment needs are special and we need to take the time required to customize a treatment plan for your individual needs. Free generic information is available from many sources. We will be happy to answer questions over the phone for free, but remember the generic information might not be applicable to you. Many times we have been told that people have felt pressured at a free consultation appointment to commit to the treatment. Our goal is to never pressure patients into having treatment done. Once you are committed to a course of treatment, we will be happy to provide treatment to you.
